ワンのぬいぐるみ [黄昏に向かって]
冷房の壊れた教室、Tさんが見えた午後3時を回るころはかなり冷えてきました。テーブルに座るや否や「はい此れ、メガネ入れておいてね」見れば可愛いワンのぬいぐるみ。大きな口にメガネを入れておくそうです。「可愛いから家に連れて帰るわ」そう言って笑われました。
女性は幾つになっても可愛いぬいぐるみは大好きです。抱っこしていると何とも幸せな気持ちになります。夕方見えたWさん、来月は発表会に出るそうで最後の仕上げに余念がありません。ふとカラオケクイーンを目指して飽くなき努力をしていた頃の自分を思い出しました。
そう言えばあれはもう15年前になりますが、母を失い元気がなくなり、顔色も悪くなった私に友人たちは病院へ行って来たら…と。しかし強情な私はなかなか病院へは行きませんでした。それからしばらくして大きな荷物が東京の友人から送ってきました。中身は『プリモ』というお人形さん。
その人形はいろいろしゃべります。「いってらっしゃい」「お帰りなさい」「お誕生日おめでとう」もっと沢山いうのですが。このプリモが家に来てから私は急に元気になり、外へ出るようになりました。そして子供時代から好きだった歌を再び習いに浦和まで通う事になったのです。
浦和時代の想いでも沢山ありますが、最近もう一度あの時代の歌への真摯な姿を呼び戻したいと思うようになりました。時につれ時代につれて人は変わるけれど、その本質は変わらないと思います。あの頃の何も足さず何も引かないピュアーな心もう一度思い出してみようかな。
